Body discomforts
Our body knows how to get back to health. Every moment, as you read this, an army of cell from our immune system, searches and eliminates unwanted elements and microorganisms from our body. This mechanism works automatically, you don’t have to do anything. We were born with this. When some virus gets into our body, we react to it, not even realising it. A fever or runny nose are only symptoms, our immune system is working as it should – it fights an infection. When get injured, or break a bone, our organism repairs itself. It knows how perfect state of health looks like and constantly aims to go there. That is why the wounds heals, and bones grow back together. Unfortunately, an organism often needs time and peace in our life, and if I know something about life, it is this, not many people live calmly and at ease. As soon as body starts to regenerate itself, we expose it to stress of life. And in such way a long list of unfinished things to heal is being created.
Later a chronic stress cause that many of us live on the edge between health and disease. One greater stress, physical or at work and our health is pinned down. And as a consequence, we can feel discomforts in our body. We often reach out for tablets to ease the ache, but often they only block the signal, and what about the rest? What about the source? If we will not act on the source, it will stay there in the same state as it was before taking a pill.
That is why I offer more holistic approach. I am not suggesting to replace a medical treatment, but to compliment it. Instead of looking at the discomfort from one point of view, I propose an additional one.
We have one body, which should last for us for all the days we will live. Let’s care for it.
