  • Focus on something else than your body, try to remain focused on something outside of your body for a few minutes, it can be anything.

  • Breath in slowly through nose, and exhale slowly through nose, do this for a few minutes, until you become calm

There is no one reason, from what I know, it can happen at any time in our life. Most likely, the reason is that our nervous system, which is responsible for protecting us from danger became dysregulated and triggers itself ON in random moments. This results us to be in alert mode and seek a way out.
