This page addresses a subject that is rarely spoken about openly, but that touches more lives than we realise. Suicide is a profound tragedy — for those who lose someone, and in the Spiritist understanding, for the soul that departs as well. This is not a page about crisis intervention or mental health treatment. It approaches the subject from a spiritual and mediumistic perspective, informed by the teachings of those who have written most deeply about what happens to souls after they leave this world.

"Death is not the end. And for a soul that has ended its life in pain, the journey does not stop — it continues, in need of light and compassionate guidance."

Drawing on the Spiritist tradition — particularly the work of Allan Kardec and Chico Xavier — I believe that souls who take their own lives often remain disoriented, trapped in confusion and suffering, unaware of what has happened or how to move forward. They may still be deeply connected to the physical world, sometimes reaching out without knowing how to be heard.

My work in this area is to act as a compassionate intermediary — helping these souls find peace, understand their situation, and progress. I also offer support to those in the physical world who feel a presence, carry grief, or sense that someone they loved may need help on the other side.

Allan Kardec
1804 – 1869

French educator and founder of Spiritism. His five core works — including The Spirits' Book and Heaven and Hell — laid the systematic foundation for understanding life, death, and the soul's journey.

Chico Xavier
1910 – 2002

Brazilian medium and philanthropist who, through psychography, produced over 490 books conveying messages from spirits — including many accounts of souls navigating the afterlife following difficult deaths.

I don't know how to start this, so I will just tell you what happened to me.

A few years ago, something strange began occurring at my home. I started receiving notifications from my energy provider saying they were sorry I had decided to switch to another company — except I hadn't switched. Then my neighbour's supplier sent me a welcome letter. I sorted it out with both companies, but within days it happened again. And again. The same pattern kept repeating, despite the fact I'd lived there for years without any changes.

I mentioned it to a trusted friend with an open mind. After listening, he suggested it might be a spirit trying to get my attention — perhaps asking for help. The idea wasn't entirely new to me, so I quietly asked: "Is there something I can do for you?" After a few attempts, the answer came through: feed a homeless person. It was an unusual message, but I followed it. That same day, I bought food and gave it to someone I found nearby. When I came home, nothing seemed different. But as weeks went by, the letters stopped completely. The pattern never repeated.

I later came to understand that this had been the spirit of someone who had ended their own life. That is why this category exists here. If you find yourself in a similar situation — whether you sense a presence, carry unexplained grief, or feel that someone is trying to reach you — feel free to reach out. We can explore it together and see where to go from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

According to the teachings of Allan Kardec and the many spirits who communicated through Chico Xavier, the soul does not cease to exist at the moment of physical death. For souls who have ended their lives — often in great pain and darkness — the transition can be particularly difficult. They may remain in a state of confusion, spiritual sleep, or suffering, still closely attached to the physical world they left behind. Spiritism teaches that these souls need compassionate help, prayer, and guidance to understand their new situation and begin to progress.

This work is for two groups of people. First, those who have lost someone to suicide and feel that something — a presence, an unresolved energy, a connection — remains. Grief is complex enough on its own; when it is accompanied by a sense that the person is still near, or still struggling, it can become especially difficult to carry. Second, those who, like me, have experienced unexplained phenomena — signs, presences, or communications — that they believe may be connected to someone who has passed in this way. Both deserve to be heard without judgement.

No — and it's important to be clear about this. This work approaches the subject of suicide from a spiritual and mediumistic perspective, not as a clinical intervention. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7) or visit samaritans.org. What I offer here is spiritual support — for the grieving, for those sensing a presence, and for those seeking to help a soul that may still be in need of light.

Every situation is different, so I approach each case with openness and without a fixed script. We may talk about what you've been experiencing — feelings, signs, presences, dreams. I may use energy work, mediumistic awareness, or prayer to create a space in which communication or release can occur. The intention is always compassionate: to help bring peace — to you, and where possible, to the soul that may still be seeking it. We simply begin, and see where the work leads.

If something is pulling you to reach out — trust that.

Whether you're grieving, sensing a presence, or simply curious about this work, I'm here to listen without judgement. Reach out and we'll find a way forward together.
